Until now, to hunt for gold nuggets, you must choose between a light weight VLF detector, which detects smaller, shallow gold, or a very expensive PI (pulse induction) detector to hunt the bigger, deeper gold. The Axiom uses Terra-Scan, which is a dual channel ground balancing system unique to the Axiom.
